Nice enclosed shelter with electricity and two fireplaces, one in each end. Shelter has stone walls. There is a bridge suspended on cables over the river. Very nice place for a family picnic or group activity.
A nice late-season getaway. Even in the rain yesterday we were able to relax. Colors are turning nicely. Facilities are immaculate. Great day today for a hike. Thanks Wood County for maintaining this pleasant campground.
This park has the best disk golf course in the area. Very clean, and well kept

An excellent campground for those in RVs or Tents. The water quality is above average by standards of other hard wells. There is no individual site plumbing, however, there is a great setup at the main entrance for sewage and fresh water. There is a large, centrally located, service building on-site with showers, laundry, vending, and information. Firewood can be purchased on site as well. Very pretty scenery as the campground is spread out along the river. There are only two reasons that I did not give this place five stars: they prohibit bringing firewood in and the main entrance floods during the springtime which requires that customers use the back entrance. The back entrance is a narrow and overgrown road which leads to challenges driving against oncoming traffic, especially for RVs. Overall it is a great place to camp.
